We'd like to thank all those who came along to celebrate International Earth Day together with us on the 21st April 2024
The Linville Hall was buzzing despite the rainy weather. It was a wonderful way to catch up with good friends & make new ones over delicious food cooked by our very own Marjie Spies and Annette Page, from our Blackbutt sub-committee.
We also had a number of helpers and volunteers who went over and above in their support for us & helped to make our event the success that it was.
We had about 55 people come through the door, have lunch, purchase native plants and have a chat and around 35 stayed for the presentation.
Thankfully we were able to raise around $500 in support of wildlife care and Dr.Sandra Tuszynska's presentation on soil regeneration was fascinating.
Feel free to contact us if you would like to catch up on the information shared or if you would like to find out more about getting involved with local wildlife care & rescue.
